Caching improvements in WCS 6.0.0.4

In WebSphere Commerce 6.0.0.4, there are significant changes to the caching framework in the WebSphere Commerce base code that can noticeably improve performance compared to previous levels of Version 6.0.

So if you are running on version 6, it might be a good idea to quickly upgrade to 6.0.0.4 for performance improvements, you need to ensure that you tune the cache size after installing the fix pack.

Also, it is very important that you don't blindly select disk offload option, as in production system this will have additional overhead of I/O operations to write from cache to disk. The best would be to control what you cache in memory and do not dump everything possible in DynaCache.
