Make your eCommerce Catalog Data Searchable on Google

Posted by Unknown on
Google has a beta program code named "Google Merchant Center", As part of this Suite, Google Base is another wonderful offering by Google to make your Catalog searchable through Google search engine.

So how do we do it, very simple (The Google Way)

1. Set up an account for Google Merchant.
2. Register and configure a product feed from your site which can be consumed by Google base.
3. Google base supports many different types of industry standard feed format.

I believe this is a great channel to market and make your product searchable on internet, remember Google still dominates approximately 75% of search market, so this is a great way to pull people towards your B2C, B2B sites.

So what do we got to loose, go ahead and upload your Catalog feed on to Google Base and open up more marketing channels.

  1. Hello Hari,

Is there a recommended way to "Register and configure a product feed from your site which can be consumed by Google base."

For example, does WCS generate a feed on its own, or does it have to be manually created?

  3. The information which you have given is to a great degree tolerable and astonishing. Gives some incredibly supportive bits of learning of how things truly work. I have to share something more about this as well.
