I have tested the installation on CentOS 6.2 and Oracle Linux 6.3 VM's, from my personal experience Oracle Linux 6.3 installation is simplest of all.
Prerequisites:
Make sure you have installed IHS and Websphere 7.0.0.25 runtime environment before proceeding with WCS installation, you may refer my previous blogs for these steps
