Accessing Configuration Manager on remote Linux server using XForward

Step 1 : Ensure SSH is supported on the remote Linux server
Step 2 : Enabling XForwarding

vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Add following entries

X11Forwarding yes
X11DisplayOffset 10
X11UseLocalhost no

Save the file and restart sshd service
/etc/init.d/sshd restart

Step 3 : Prepare Linux
Install following packages

yum install xorg-x11-xauth
yum install xorg-x11-apps
yum install xulrunner*

If you don't install xulrunner you may end up with following errors while starting config_server.sh script

Step 4 : Prepare host windows operating system
I'm using MobaXterm
Create a new SSH session for yuur linux server, make sure X11 forwarding option is selected



Step 5 : Now open a new remote session using MobaXterm and try
WCS_HOME/bin/config_server.sh &
WCS_HOME/bin/config_client.sh
